Copyright Ontology
The Copyright Ontology is a contribution geared towards the development of copyright-aware Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems.
The Copyright ontology is the main contribution of the PhD thesis "A Semantic Web Approach to Digital Right Management", which documents it. The main parts of this PhD thesis devoted to the Copyright Ontology are the Conceptualisation and Implementation sections. The latter just sketches the implementation guidelines of an OWL implementation.
Currently, there is just a Copyright Ontology implementation, which is work in progress:
There is also a ongoing project to develop a Semantic Digital Rights Management System (SemDRMS) that makes use of the Copyright Ontology in order to implement DRM using Sematic Web tools.
